“Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power & magic in it. Begin it now.” ~Goethe
Hi, it’s Lynette again, bringing you another of my favorite quotes. Please read this quote again. And again. And again.
Do you see how powerful it is? A dream is language in your head – words put into a picture that floats in your imagination. How many times have you dreamed of having a healthy body? How many times have you dreamed that your willpower was in place? Can you see yourself – see yourself trying on clothes in the “regular” sizes – see yourself hiking up a mountain or wearing that cute swimsuit at the beach? Or simply rolling around on the floor with your kids (and being able to get up without strain)?
As Goethe said – if you can dream it, begin it.
Begin today. What one tiny baby step can you do today to create that healthy body, that healthy you?
Now, go do that one thing!

A key to getting in shape is determination and consistency.
Notice how your body responds to exercise and truly enjoy all the benefits of exercise. The more you focus on the benefits the easier it will be to motivate yourself to stick with your fitness plan.

Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.
~Henry David Thoreau
Hi, this is Lynette, life coach at Chrysalis and I wanted to share this, one of my favorite quotes with you today. I have this quote hanging from the mirror in my car. As I drive, I see it – each and every day, I see it.
What do you have in front of you, each and every day, to remind you of your dreams? To encourage you? To inspire you?
Often, we need that little reminder, that encourager, that inspiration to continue down the path we declare as important to us. Without that daily reminder, it is so easy to look backwards, to take detours, or to pull off the road altogether.
What system do you have in place? What system CAN you put in place? Today is a GREAT day to start!

A recent study at the University of New South Wales in Sydney found that women who spent 20 minutes mixing sprints and jogging lost three times the fat off their legs and butt in 15 weeks than those who jogged steadily for 40 minutes.

Think impossible and dreams get discarded, projects get abandoned, and hope for wellness is torpedoed. But let someone yell the words It’s possible, and resources we hadn’t been aware of come rushing in to assist us in our quest.
~Greg Anderson
Are you surrounding yourself with people who support your dreams? Who want more for you than you want for yourself? Create – on purpose and by design – people in your life who lift you up, cheer you on and tell you “it’s possible”!

A healthier alternative to peanut butter is almond butter. It has six times the calcium, three times the amount of Vitamin E and twice the iron of peanut butter. But, always watch the label – not all are create equal. Watch the sugar content – choose the one not infused with additional sugar/carbs.

Heed the still small voice that so seldom leads us wrong, and never into folly.
~Marquise du Deffand
Happy and joyous Saturday to you! Today, listen for that still small voice – is it asking you to act? Is it asking you to rest? Is it reminding you of your promises to yourself?
Listen… pay attention. When your will is weak, pause and listen to the voice. Give yourself 10 seconds to choose. More often than not, the pause – that brief 10 seconds – is all you need to re-direct your course.

Wash your fruits and vegetables right before eating them. If you wash them and then store them in the refrigerator, the moisture can lead to bacteria and mold growth.

“The great pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do.”
- Walter Bagehot
Many people do an awesome job of sticking with their health plan during the week, but lose track on the weekends. They then wake up on Monday morning full of regret and guilt. Is that you? This weekend, prove that you can do what you normally say you cannot do. Wake up Monday morning with the great pleasure of keeping your promise to yourself.

If you are stressed, your body is unable to properly digest food. Your body must focus on dealing with stress, leaving less blood volume for other functions like digestion.
