The Hamburger of Destruction

Health Tip of the Day Add comments

We found it… the weapon of mass destruction…… and it goes by the name, Monster Burger.

burger

This 1,420-calorie burger, which contains 107 grams of fat is only one of the growing trend of high fat, high calories burgers that are flying out the drive-thru windows.

Please think before you eat! Think about what your body has to do to rescue you from this heart attack on a bun! Trust me, you think you’ll miss your knees when they are gone, try missing your pancreas and liver. Take good care of them, they will thank you with long life, tremendous energy and a body that doesn’t hold you back from doing the things you love.

Be well,

Lynette, your weight loss life coach

    Hey Gals,
Sure have missed you, we were relocated over night, well at least we only had 24 hours to make the decision and put our house on the market, last spring. We survived and I am a homemaker, now, continuing to change my and my families eating habits. Joseph, one of my little ones has left ventricuar stenosis, so eating habits will be imperative to his life style. I just ran across this protien bar recipe– that is so yummy, I had to stop and share it with you. 1/2 cup honey, 1/2 cup peanut butter, (natural or reduced fat) 1/2 cup semisweet chips or 70% if you can find them carob works , too, 3 Tbs. Water, 1 cup shake mix, 1 cup quick oats, 2 cups rice krispies( Ingles carries brown rice organic) Mix first four ingredients, and microwave, add shake mix Chocolate or vanilla and then return to microwave just to warm if gets too stiff, add in oats and rice krispies and mix together and press into 8X8 pan. Spray with cooking spray first. Refrigerate, only one per day is allowed to keep calorie consumpton low, they are wonderful. :) Kelley Jo
